When you arrive at the airport on Wednesday, you will be met by a taxi driver bearing a sign with your name and transported to our luxury hotel location. Here you will join other RAW WORLD participants relaxing and rejuvenating following their flight. Your next stop will be La Paz Waterfall Gardens: Nature Park and Wildlife Refuge where you will visit the largest butterfly observatory in the world. Here you will see dozens of varieties of butterflies of different colors, designs, and sizes. These beautiful creatures are natural works of art.


Next you will wander through an orchid garden and on to the hummingbird oasis, where you will experience the magic of being a breath away from many sizes and varieties of brilliant, iridescent colored hummingbirds. It is an experience you will not soon forget.

  La Paz Waterfalls

After you have spent time marveling on the design of hummingbirds, you will hike to five incredible waterfalls, using various observatories to make the most of your viewing experience. The majesty of the falls is humbling and the nature preserve is a perfect introduction to the beauty and abundance of Costa Rica.

From La Paz you continue your journey to Sarapiqui's Dock for boat transfer to Tortuguero Area. At the Sarapiqui's Dock you board the boat to Tortuguero National Park (App. 4 hours) via inland waterways.
En route you may observe different flora, fauna, wildlife.

Tortuguero is situated on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. The park covers 18,947 hectares and protects green turtle egg-laying grounds (July to September) and lowland rainforest which is home to a wealth of wildlife – 300 species of birds including toucans, herons, hummingbirds and green macaws, and other animals including monkeys and rare manatee

Tortuguero is rightfully called "The Amazon of Costa Rica" because access is only by boat on Jungle Rivers. Your home for two nights in Tortuguer is Turtle Beach Lodge which gives you access to the ocean and rainforest environment unlike any other resort in the Tortuguero area. Within their 175 acre property there is always something to see or do. Enjoy our Caribbean beach, canal, acres of unspoiled jungle, and the adjoining Canal of Palms (where other lodges have to travel to give their tours).

While staying at Turtle Beach Lodge you can do almost everything a traveler could desire without even leaving the grounds! You can try a kayak or canoe, take walks on the jungle trails or beach, ride horses down the beach, fish in the canals or the ocean's surf, swim in the pool or play in the ocean.


After breakfast at lodge followed by boat tour through the Canals of Tortuguero you will trasfer by boat to your waiting bus at the Caño Blanco dock which will take you to Arenal Area. The route to Arenal is an experience itself, the road passes through pictures villages, pastoral scenes and breathtaking views taking us to the spectacular Arenal Volcano with an elevation of 1,633m and active since 1968. After settling in at the Hotel Los Lagos, your home for the night and the following morning.

We will be of to Eco Termales Hot Springs where you can relax in the many pools and springs.  The mineral waters, running at a soothing temperature of 39ºC (102 F), flow through exotic tropical gardens, forming cascades and pools….the perfect setting for an unforgettable experience. Dinner will be at Eco Termales Hot Springs





After breakfast, your bus departure Puntarenas where you will experience a beautiful ferry ride, then it's on to beautiful Monteztuma for the festival of a lifetime!
