Cherie Soria

Cherie Soria is founder and director of Living Light Culinary Arts Institute. She is an internationally known vegetarian chef, living foods instructor, lecturer, and food columnist. Cherie teaches raw food chefs and teachers from around the world the art of gourmet raw cuisine. Cherie is the author of  Angel Foods: Healthy Recipes for Heavenly Bodies. Matt Samuelson is a natural teacher. When he is not on retreat with Living Light he is traveling around the world doing raw and living foods consultation. Matt offers services from personalized raw food lifestyle training to setting up kitchens for major spas and retreat centers. His simple approach makes learning easy and food preparation fun. Matt can show you how to save time in the kitchen by sharing shortcuts he has developed over the past 10 years of a natural foods lifestyle. Matt is considered a master in the areas of culturing and artful food presentation.

Elaina Love

Elaina is a master chef and instructor for the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute. Elaina Love is also an author and founder and operator of Pure Joy Living Foods. She is mother to Dominic, age 7, and she understands how to teach kids to enjoy healthy, delicious foods. She has catered many raw food retreats and events including those for David Wolfe, Dr. Gabriel Cousens, and Dr. Doug Graham, all recognized leaders in the living food community, and her recipes have been published internationally. Alicia Ojeda is an extraordinary, classically trained, professional chef who is passionate about raw culinary arts. Formerly the Executive Chef at Dreamworks Studio for Bon Appetit Mgmt Co., Alicia is now on Staff with Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, working closely with director Cherie Soria, coordinating the Professional Chef Training Program. She is also the Executive Chef for Raw World International Festival. Alicia brings 12 years of experience and a wealth of knowledge to all her dynamic raw culinary arts presentations.

Chad Sarno

Chad Sarno is the director of Vital Creations and author of a book by the same name. He is a graduate of Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, worked closely with Cherie Soria, and became one of Living Light's staff chefs. Chad was an instrumental figure in the recipe development for Roxanne's Restaurant, former manager of Gabriel Cousins Tree of Life Café and helped develop the culinary arts program at Dr. Cousins Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center. Chad travels extensively, training chefs and consulting with restaurants around the world. His gourmet cuisine is truly of reflection of the love he puts into everything he prepares.

Juliano is author of "RAW: The Uncook Book" and has a new restuarant Juliano's raw in Santa Monica, CA. He has appeared on TV shows, and in magazines and newspapers such as PEOPLE, USA today, SPIN magazine, S.F. Examiner and others. Juliano is famous for promoting the RAW food truth to the world. Stars such as Woody Harrelson, Demi Moore and Robin Williams have all dropped in on Juliano's (former) restaurant in San Francisco and now visit Juliano's raw.
